Looking at two types of bags on e-bay. The one set is made by Tour Master and they are slant bags with Triumph supports. The others are Triumph brand straight bags without supports. Both are comparable in price. However I won't be using them a lot and I'm not sure which will be more functional on my 07 Speedie. Any comments or feedback help is greatly appreciated.

I think slant bags look better, and the Tour Master might be bigger than the Triumph bags. You need the supports. Go with what suits you though, you have to look at it. Did you check the classifieds here first?

BTW, post much?

Yep on the classifieds. Saw the set that Mikey790 had for sale but he didn't seem to respond if still for sale.

As for the posting, I'm quite shy!!

FWIW, the Tour Master bags are synthetic, not leather.

Yeah, I e-mailed the guy asking the same question and he told me they were leather. All the info I found told me they were synthetic. Thanks for the reply!
