I saw one today at the bike shop.. well it was actually a screen saver of said T-shirt.. but you get the idea. Anyway..

There used to be a internet T-shirt company called unkind designs (can't find them anymore). They had a bunch of biker/chopper/hardtail shirts. Saw their shirts once at a swapmeet. My fav one was "NO, it's not a harley"

Non-motorcycle shirts? I have two from Tshirthell.com that are now out of date as we're past the election; they're mildly political so I can't really talk about them here. One of them is titled "I bet you'll vote next time hippy" and the other says, "Election 2008: Incompetence vs. Incontinence."

I never have cared much for the better a rat than hog slogan. I love Triumphs and even though all my friends ride Harleys and I don't care for HDs, I just don't get it. I'd never want to wear that riding with my friends. Even though I don't eat red meat, I find pigs less disgusting than rats.

got it for Mon online from unkinddesign yonks ago..$28US...seems website's no longer around....googled illustrator's sig. (boetz) under UD sticker we received with th T & came up with this site thats nuthin like th original, but i recognise a couple of designs from UD...maybe ask if they'v got any other of th old designs still kickin round..never know ya luck... http://www.cafepress.com/BoetzInk/3458166

I saw a couple good shirts at a Triumph, Ducati, Royal Enfield shop. They were: If Harley Davidson built airplanes would you fly in it? and something like If Harley Davidson employed more engineers than lawyers maybe they would build a better bike! I know its bashing the Harleys but still funny!

Dayum, that sucks about T-Shirt HeII going out of business. But with the only politically correct targets left being straight white conservative males, how many shirts could a person sell anyway? My personal fav: "I was in on the plot to get JFK and all I got was this stupid shirt" I had to go to three different printers to get that one made.

I will never understand this, I run Lucas on all my old bikes and have never had an electrical problem out of the ordinary that happens to any car or bike. The AC generators last forever since they have no wear parts. The old generators were not the greatest but the HD ones weren't any better. The old magnitos worked great. I have 50 year old units that still work fine and never had anything but new plug contacts and points put in them. Show me other companies that have 50+ year old electrical componants that still work with no rebuild. (my Studebaker but that has low mileage on it) The only real Lucas problem was the wiring harness, had bullet connectors where all they did was push the wire through and clip it together. No solder , no crimp just pinched between the bullet and socket. The Zener Diode wasn't the best either but it did work. The TR6C I rode all over the country had all stock electrics in it except I did the wiring harness. The Typanium units replaced the Zener and rectifier and then they were pretty much trouble free. They even make a Typanium unit now that looks like the original Zener heat sink.

The selenium rectifier used to fail regularly on my '49, but that might have been because I used the ones intended for use in a TV. The lights used a bit more current than the dynamo produced so they were at about half intensity after a couple of hours with the battery holding at about 3 volts. It had a Bosch magneto, so ignition was never a problem.
