Gordon, 'didn't like us very much" you're being very kind!
I'm thinking jerky and warm beer. We can pack that in the saddle bags.

Wade, brother, I appreciate the offer. I must decline for your own good. According to some pretty reliable sources, apparently, I have been known to wake the dead with my snoring and wouldn't wish that on you. Also I have known to let lose with some noxious gas fumes after a night of beer drankin'. So as much as I greatly appreciate the offer, I gotta say no thank you for the sake of our friendship... you will respect me in the morning..... ride safe... Gordon

I could only imagine what would happen. Bout the only time i got close to being threesheetstothewind was at the NH rally camping in Rob's yard... But all I had was one bottle

Wait! I did get just like our yute brother when staying at the dragon with Ben and Tamara... back after the 05 GA Rally on monday, may 9th. Man the next day was hadesforsure. Had a headache all the way to Maggie Valley riding in the rain, and that was after a noon (or later) departure. It rained all day until, miraculously, my headache abated right as I pulled into the liquor store in Maggie Valley.

I wouldn't want to walk round that shrub to the left in this picture. Or was it the picinic table? Yuk...

Wheels through time, ahhhh

It looks like it will be a day trip (or hopefully two) for me this year too. With my Mom living with us and now on the lung transplant list, we have to have a driver close to home at all times to go if the call comes in. Even so, it will be good to see everyone again.

Tom, where is she on the transplant list at, the Atlanta area? I hope she gets one real soon. When you're the one waiting for an organ, it seems like each day is an eternity.

If I go to Ga. it will have to be on the cheap. Maybe Chy will let me sleep in his pole barn if I mow his lawn.

Good idea.

Yeah, the tornadoes hit west of here near OKC. It is a lot flatter in that part of the state and they seem to get more.

Welp...it's not looking too promising for me this year.

Right now, it's looking like starting 4/18, I'll have 40-50 days without a day off (and no friggin overtime either). One the positive side, I'll be 'riding' a machine that's 500 feet long and would dyno at 5,700 hp and 1,600,000 ft/lb of torque.

So...in case anything shy of a miracle occurs...y'all have a great time! Drink plenty of MD for me!
