Always wanted to turn down that road. Almost had to do a u-turn after braking real hard. You know me from 70 to 0 in no time... 82 miles from Dahlonega

Seven Natural Wonders of Georgia Anyone going to take a couple of days riding to Dahlonega? Lynn and I will be rolling NNW from the Island. Reaaly want to ride West, just south of GA's southern skirt then turn North and touch base with some of these wonders. Along the way I recon we'll get up round abouts of Havana, FL or Amsterdam, GA the first night. From there we ride to Providence Canyon the next day, lollygag about and catch some shut eye up closer to Pine Mountain, GA where after checking in for the night roll through the FD Roosevelt State Park to Warm Springs. When we roll like this, Lynn gets to sleep in while I start out the new day with a dawn ride. Seen many cities that way. Columbia SC, Danville VA to name a couple. Another one long ago was Vidalia GA. We've stayed the night several times in Vidalia over the year, always hoping to get some bonifide Vidalia Unyons somehow. We didn't but it's one of those places every knows about but has no idea about. Those two cities seems a fairly decent days ride for us. Witnessed an antebellum home being moved one year round ways of Baxter GA. Had to wait in the summer sun for 30 minutes while the beast was being trailed on steel h beams down the road...Although, like Vidalia and onions, I would not expect fine cigars in Havana or hemp in Amsterdam. The names are kinda romantic though. Nice motorsickle photo in front of the respective courthouses I bet, or the Courthouse of the County Seat(s). These ole towns are so freaking mayberryish. Like stepping back in time. Conjures up old blue eyes belting out 'April in Paris'. Too bad Amsterdam is just a cross roads.

Well then. Seems like the "Speaking of Daytona" thread get's more attention than this current thread. Let's take a walk eh? What you are interested in turns out is something more in line with muhco grande assets of the fairer gender. click here for the my basketball jones interpretation. Hum something wrong about that. computing...computing... Try this fabulous shot of a really funcky, imminent, tongue play Happens everytime at that place too. Yes on the way to the GA Rally! North side of Jacksonville, FL. Speaking of, tongues, Seems to me that at a certain hushhush you be ssshhhhhing place, a miraculous thing happens when mixing libations and sparks. The yutes metamorphically regress into animals! And that is while they are resting! They get downright rude when the wake up. I say we roll the dice a let the worries fall where they may. Not really a cream, but when things seem impossible and ya want to ride, there is this pill that I heard takes care of a lot of things.

A group of us motored down to HeII's Canyon along the Snake river in Idaho one January to pursue ocean run Steelhead trout. One of the guys had an innucuous container of expired magical pills that enabled the ingestor (ingestee?) to catch fish. I don't know how they worked, but they did-go figure.
Sorry for the hi-jack, but it seemed somehow related

All set made my res. at the Shhhhh!!! hotel for Thursday thru Sat..
Bike is still in a million pieces, got this wild hair that I strip it down and clean it one thing lead to another and no I have project on my hads, the cush drive was just a pile of chewed up rubber.
Been flying back and forth between ATL and BOS as my dad is close to passing.
My company Yellow\Roadway almost went bust on Feb 15th but we made it through completed a new finance package with our banks combined both companies in the new YRC which now makes us the largest land heavyhaul carrier in North American.
So with all this going on I'm really looking forward to getting away for a few days.

Speaking of rates, I'd be interested in splitting a room, and the rate. I'm still undecided on how many nights I'm staying,1-2-3? I'm old and quite until I get drunk, then I'm old and drunk

You might want to shop around on the price, people stay all over town and don't forget that Moto400 has the lodge reserved up at TWO so you might check with Judy Mecham at Moto400 for info on that.

Everyone... enjoy the rally this year and ride safe... Unfortunately, I will be stuck working my companies trade show the entire week of the rally this year and can't make it.
Usually the rally fell the week after the show and hasn't been a problem.
Next year, I'll just quit my job.
Have fun, Kurt Darden

I got an e-mail from Aimee at Moto 400(she's ) and she tells me that they want to feed us breakfast Saturday morning and offer a discount on the goodies within. So I'm thinking we ride up to Moto 400, check out the free food and sickles (the foods free.. not the sickles), then we'll make a run up to TWO to see what's going on up there. Very nice riding all around so it's a win win kinda thing. And oh yeah.. finally updated my web site info.
