Yep.. it's that time again. Time to turn out thoughts from the cold nasties and look forward to some friendship and fun in the warm Georgia sun.
So put in for your vacation and make some plans to escape to the beautiful North Georgia mountains... That'll be Monday April 27th through Sunday May 3rd this year.

Thursday is the official beginning of the festivities but this year we are going to introduce "Rally week". I will be planning rides for each and every day beginning Monday April 27th with a sunrise ride up Richard Russel Parkway. All information will be posted on ChysRides as it develops so be sure to check in there for all updates. Lots of great roads and things to see so please do plan some time and enjoy everything this area has to offer.

Saturday: Triumph Demo Truck at TWO! Yep... thats right. These things I do for you guys...
We'll have a great ride up the mountain that morning to TWO where we'll hang out and maybe get to ride a few bikes.. couldn't ask for better roads to do it on.. nothing but the sweetest of twisties in that area.
As always Saturday evening will the gathering at Rally central for some friendship, food and fun.

That's all I got for you now.. more to come..

Count me in. I live in North Georgia. Lots of great rides up here. Moto 400 in Dawsonville just started selling Triumphs. They should bring the demo truck up for that weekend. Start listening to "Georgia on my Mind" for preparation.

So this is a BA.com Rally?

I thought this might be associated with British in the Blue Ridge.

As a matter of fact I was just there this evening and Keith (head honcho) tells me that the Triumph demo truck is going to be at TWO that very weekend.. how cool is that?

to all new to the GA BA.com rally.
yes it is a rally for us, by us but as long as you ride
that is good enough, bring your friends ( even if they ride a harley )
and you are responsible for your riding abilities.
there is a great deal of great roads , if you are a novice
come and improve your skills just stay within your limits.
we say this every year and every year some one says
"I got to comfortably and pushed my limits" as we are picking up the parts.
but we keep going back , cause we love it and miss our friends.

Oh, and it will rain at least one day, never fails.
one wet day and one dropped bike.

some more info and great stories can be found at Chys Rides

Ps: Chy , change the rally portion of your site to the new year.

Laid up with a bum back right now , the doc wants to fuse another vertabrate that will make 5 and counting six months healing without riding if I go through with it , but count me in I'm going to wait until after summer,I want to make the GA and NH rally before going under the knife again .

After that one I just think I'll be putting in for vacation time myself. The timing for this year's rally just might work out quite well for me.
