The Pacer wasn't that bad. Heck I even owned one.
The Thing was a utilitarian beast that wasn't supposed to be pretty. It was copied after the WWII German Jeep equivalent and had the same “I don’t care what I look like†attitude.
The Matador was similar to a lot of other beasts of it’s time. All the US carmakers had a few of them.
The Honda and the Scion both look like the box my Mini Cooper came in.
The Aztec looks like it was designed by a committee in Japan. Certainly the ugliest vehicle built in the last 40 years. You gotta wonder what purgatory awaits the guy who bought off on that design. I first saw one in the showroom when I took my Grand Prix in for service. I looked at the salesmen with a quizzical look on my face and they just shrugged and shook their heads.
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.
