Caps for EPCO pipes?

I have the EPCO pipes, really like them, but they are a bit short. Has anyone ever seen caps that I could add that would make them longer? My preference would be something that would make them have a slash cut end (currently they are straight).

I sent an inquiry to EPCO a couple months back and never heard anything.

Thanks.

That's too bad you already have a pair. EPCO will make them length to order through Brent. At one time I was looking at ordering a set of 48"ers. You could find a length of chome pipe from a vendor like JPCycles.com and an extra set of clamps and move them back.

Thats a good idea, FJ. Adding a pipe extension between the header and muffler might be just what you need to achieve the length you want, as long as the hanger bracket will work.

Always remember to be yourself. Unless you suck. Then pretend to be someone else.

The hanger is always movable, it just depends on how difficult. And is the view worth the climb? If it's bolt-on, not welded like some (D&Ds), then no problemo.

Thank you both for the ideas and info. I'm in the middle of repairing my garage after a frozen pipe burst (fortunately the side damaged was away from the bike) but once I get the mess cleaned up I'll start playing around with the bike.

I like the view worth the climb saying, I'll keep that in mind before I start breaking, I mean, changing things.

It helps add much needed perspective from time to time...

FJ, you rely too much on Brent to get stuff done. You don't need Brent, Eddy or anybody. (No offense intended directly or implicitly to our standard aftermarket vendors.) You call up EPCO and order your pipes. That is what I did, got them as I wanted them and didn't pay anybody else any extra cash. No more, no less difficult than calling the middle man to pay extra cash. Actually, a somewhat puzzling phenomena.

I actually rely on Brent for very little.
