Thanks, Ray, for the info. Spoke to my service manager just now, and he stated the service tech sets the latest map tune to the pipes he sees and hears on the bike at the time of service, after checking the black box for error and fault codes. Apparently Triumph sends periodic global map updates, and individual map settings are selected from that package by the techs for each cycle based on it's setup. So says he. Easy to see and hear they are not stock pipes, and the odometer said he road tested it, so who knows? Ya gotta trust somebody, and it does run good.....albeit with lower gas mileage - down to 41 from 44 mpg (two up).
