I'm supposin' that comes in real handy whenever he's speedin' past one of those darn speed camera machines, huh?!  (...WHICH, BTW, I think I just got nailed by a couple days ago and am now waitin' patiently for my nice little summons from the City of Torrance California....DRATS....I'm guessin' it's gonna say I was doin' about 42 in a 35 zone!!!!!!

There's a group in northern Texas fighting those things right now. Seems we have a law that requires evidence collectors to have an official, state-issued investigator permit. The group discovered that the software is only leased to the state, and is owned by the manufacturer of the equipment, and that's the key. The software is responsible for collection, and the manufacturer doesn't have an investigator's license. Danm, that's funny.
