I did mine last year with Krylon (I think) high temp "grill" paint in matte black. Sanded lightly with 400 grit, then some steal wool. Held up ok for the season. Started to chip where the keys dangle against it. Just had them powder coated and will put em back on in the spring. Worth it for $40 bucks I think.
