Hi all, I just wanted to wish each and every one of you a very Happy and Merry Christmas and an even better New Year (I'm sure most of us could use one!) All is fine here in western Connectictut, just enjoying the 10 inches (or so) of nice powdery white stuff we've gotten since this weekend, and the blisteringly cold -5 we had this morning. We go back to 50 and rainy tomorrow but I think we've got enough of the stuff that some will last until Christmas morn at least! We've finally given in to the Wii phenomenom with the kids (or will have Christmas morning), but otherwise we plan a nice quiet Christmas here and then we'll spend the rest of the day just over the hills in New York (Pawling, about 10 miles as the crow flies over the mountains and the New York line) The bike is on her battery tender already dreaming of warmer days, and I'm hoping to get some fork maintenance in on her this winter if time permits).

On the western front, I've expanded my job search now to Utah as well as Colorado to improve my odds, and have a face to face interview with a medical company in Salt Lake on the 30th. Been a long time since I've been out that far west, but it would get me within 7-1/2 to 8 hours drive of my family in Denver (or an hours flight), and a half hour from some great skiing in Park City and Sundance!(not to mention mountain riding!) For now at least, the job in CT seems to be stable, but given that we're about the only part of the company that ISN'T tied to automotive (we're primarily aerospace, and military, medical and satellite stuff seem to be keeping us busy enough, but...) so I'm definitely keeping my eyes open, thinking medical or alternative energy is the way of the future for now at least! I've also got a slim prospect at a face to face with a medical company in Boulder, CO as well, but right now hedging my bets on Salt Lake, it seems more likely.

Hope this finds all of you well, in good spirits, and great health, and talk to you on the other side of New Years!

All the Best and Cheers,
Greg
