Yep, I never liked the 71 and up look either. I have a 72 Daytona too, I like it and have it about 90% restored now. I have a couple 72 Bonnies and they are OK but never liked the look, got one in pieces for free and the other running for $300 so I couldn't pass them up. I have a 66 TR6C that I love. I like the single carb better on those old bikes, much easier to keep in tune.
