Justice served since the guy never went on the property. He shouldn't have chased the girls or kicked the door but I know there have been a couple times where a car almost killed Wendy. I chased them and kicked the door and probably would have done more if they stopped. Not shoot them or anything but vent my anger. The guy who shot still would not have been justified just because the man came on his lawn. Not sure about other states but here you are only supposed to use equal force to defend yourself as used against you. So in a fist fight it isn't OK to shoot your opponent, he would still have to prove the guy was trying to run him down and not just pulling in to talk to the guy. Chances are the girls cut the guy off and he got mad and intended to yell at them and he was killed for it. As he drove by I should add, not in the act of yelling or attacking anyone. The guy deserved his sentence , imagine if he got away with it. Think of what that would open up. Anyone could shoot a passing motorist and claim the same thing then cite this case as precedence. I think this guy exactly what he had coming except the death penalty might have saved the tax payers the cost of supporting him the rest of his life.
