Thanks Guys.

Went out in the evening on Saturday, and I don't know whether I got food poisoning or the winter vomiting virus. Spent all day yesterday puking my guts up... I'm on tablets that stop a lot of the acid production in my stomach, so the acid that stops bugs getting in is not there as much (the tablets are to counteract a problem that could occur with another one of the tablets I'm on...) - so that's why I'm not sure. Anyway around midnight I tried again to drink some water, and that seem to stay down. Along with the tablets. So my back is not hurting as much now as it was yesterday, as the painkillers didn't stay down either. Today I've have a coffee (as I was also having caffeine withdrawal) and a small bowl of porridge, and feel better for that.
I had a doc's appointment today, which I'll be going to in a bit...seeing as I haven't puked today. I was for more painkillers, so I don't run out over the Xmas period, and a sick note for work, but probably won't mention this... the other tablets say avoid alcohol... and I did drink quite a lot....

Oh and the 'v's' are valium. I'm not on them anymore, but I do have some just in case my back spasms again. That's what causes so much agony. And they don't mix with the anti-acid tablets either.
