I actually thought of that about a month ago when i first started thinking of doing this and asked a well known dirt bike store...scott's. They are known for thier scott's oiler among a few other things and just happen to be located a couple blocks from me. I asked them and thier answer was that they weren't sure. i think few people really know about packing materials and which is quietest. But i emailed the company that makes silent sport packing which is said to be the best from what i got from a google search, and they assured me thier premium stuff will be quieter than fiberglass. Of course it's not exactly an unbiased opinion, but i've read forum posts on the stuff that sounded like it's THE stuff to use. So i'm gonna try it. Worse case scenario i'm out $15.
