I really recommend the collapsible trailer from Trailer in a Bag (http://www.trailerinabag.com). It breaks down and stows in your trunk (or motel room) when not in use.
I bought one to take down to Pennsylvania when I picked up my Speedmaster and it had no trouble on the freeway for 600 miles back to Ontario, Canada.
I have no connection with the company other than as a happy customer. Note that I bought mine from the Canadian licensee in British Columbia, so there may be spec differences between it and the US version.
