I'm for it just about 1400 miles. It's 1250 miles to Sturgt SD. Can make that in to easy 2 day's, should be a cake walk. For now count me in. Never been to Vermont or the moon. Rudy

I'll be there too, I can't wait, I had a blast last year, this year should be even better...

Let my dying thought be that every mile was fun and let my tombstone read,"They never made one fast enough for me."

Cool, if'n unclecharlie is a comin and camping I'll try my best to get there as well. The man can cook just fine, specially chicken.
In fact, the dealer from Buffalo, Bucks, sent me an email asking about this event and it looks like mucho of the Bucks RatPack will also be attending. Sounds like too much fun.

Yep, we're trying hard in Bflo. to get a group down. Met a few of the crew at the Nor-East and a fine bunch they are. I'm trying to talk fasteddy into making the ride with us.

I'm pretty good with Spam and English muffon's(muffon's or good for 2 wk. out on the road even if a tractor trailer runnes over them). Now sardin's and noodles make a good meal, oatmeal raisins and peanut butter now that will make T---. wash it down with eather coffie or a adult bevreage. With this kind of food you can make it beside a road ditch.rudy

You know I'll be there. Guys that's practically my home town, and I'll be leading a nice ride up Equinox and to East Dorset thru Manchester (my real hometown). Gonna be tons of fun!!

Also, unlike previous BA.com rallies, there will be several different rides for different riding styles, etc. Something for everyone since there will be all styles of bikes there. It's definitely good times!

It's the Wilson House some folks really want to see. I've been by it many times, never went in... Bill Wilson was my Grandmother's cousin. Love to check it out.

Manchester only has one fast food place by the way... All outlet stores. I know the back roads around it My ride will go thru one or two covered bridges too. Equinox is the tallest peak in Southern VT, and home to some nasty hairpins. Good times!

Absolutely. Since you know the area somewhat, I may even ask you to ride mid-pack or tail gun in case there's a lot of bikes and we need to break it up.

Yeah, Benny does know the back roads around Manchester. I hope they will have the Adirondack ride next rally. It rained out pretty bad that day so I took a pass. I did most of it a month later, though.

So who else from CT is going this year? Charlie? Bucky? I'm thinking of camping this year and Seth from the CT Rockers is taking names for anyone who wants to camp on site #9. BTW, Kevin who rode up from Uncle Charlies place last year with his girlfriend on the scrambler, wrote a nice journal over at TRAT about his x -country trip on the scrambler last fall. A good read.

I'll be riding up via CT.... I'll take the ferry to B-port and head up Rt 8 to 20 to 7. Or I might take 8 all the way... I hear that's nice too.

Thanks for asking Gil, but it doesn't look like I'll make it to Bennington this year,
unless I can slip away at the last minute. I'm destined for event support duty for daughter's
baby shower to be held here at the homestead that weekend.
Geez, a baby shower -- I can't wait!
(Insert hen clucking noises)

Looks like GA is off my plate too. Another daughter graduates college in SC the week before,
and time off from work is scarce that time of year, the early CT growing season.

Never say never though...

I reckon I'll be best served by a sense of gratitude for plentiful previous years travels,
and pay my dues this time around.

Yeah I hate it when my wife plans some event that conflicts with a good ride or event. I figure, I don't have the time to go down to Georgia or do some of the more distant rallies, so Bennington is a good alternative being relatively close. Maybe Uncle Charlie will make an appearance and maybe even Hedge??? Once it warms up around here, we will have to do a local CT ride, or maybe take a ferry ride to LI. There must be some good places to ride on LI??

I can think of a few The ride between the two ferry's is actually pretty nice. And I live close to the Port Jeff/Bridgeport ferry, so we could fire up the charcoal. I've been saving some woodchips to throw on the fire

Could always do an overnight on Long Island and have a real party. Don't worry Benny, we won't make you put us up. That would be asking too much of your wife.

I'm going to head up Rt 22 in NY again. Less Cops, higher speed! Yes, it would be nice to go down to LI to visit with Benny as the guy always comes up to CT! I'm off the bike for the next 3 weeks. Got a little skin cancer removed from my Forehead(20 stiches) so I cant put on a helmet for that time. Sucks!

Yeah man that sucks!! And you're always good about wearing a hat outside too...

Yeah guys come on down. It's not like there's room in the house for everyone anyway But we have a huge deck out back by the driveway, good setup for gathering/eating/wrenching. As long as the weather is good We can play woodshop too.
