Switchblades SUCK! Had a set, tough to get tight enough so they don't rotate on you. There was previous discussions about knurling or roughing the insides to make them grip better. Pain in the keister if you ask me. First set, I believe the left side peg fell apart on me on the way back from THE Ohio rally. Called complained, complained some more and then finally complained some more and Kuryakyn replaced the set. Guess what happened again. Think that was just on a local exciting central Illinois run. Tough terrain! Sorry, IMO if I have to modify it to make the product work to begin with and then have to check and tighten hardware every time I ride they ain't worth the effort. I would recommend ISO Stirrups or boards. Don't have either so no opinion to offer there other than understanding the need to have optional foot placement on those road trips.
