Thanks for the input guys. The yoke does have webs on the underside (and the top side isn't flat either), so I decided I'm better off not drilling it. I'll keep looking for a S3 top yoke, or look around for some taller clip-ons. I found some adjustable ones from SkyKing that might just work.
