I don't know much about the other sites, so any comment would be inappropriate. This one seems to be going along pretty darn well since 2002. I'm continually impressed with the vision Robert had when he set it up. I think in the years since, we (everyone) has tried to follow the "intent" of the original AUP. Of course the discussions have evolved from when we were trying to figure these machines out and what did or didn't fit. And if it didn't exist somebody designed one that would. Never have resolved the oil thang.
To me one of the strong points (of BA.Com) is the similar philosophy of moder-tators and members. We got selected or drafted or shanghied into taterdom. I've met most of the others except a few and they are all great people that care about this site.
Besides I have to say nice stuff, on account the good Friar knows where I live & where the house key is hidden-yikes!!
