Yea, the needles worked out well after having even more time on them. the bike runs so nice with them as far as sound and smoothness. And the low end power is better. But i know for a fact they are on the edge of being over-rich which means if i can get more intake i should feel some more power gains. At this point with the airbox drilled snorkel gone and UNI filter my only option to further the airflow into the carbs is restrictor plate removal. And after hearing a couple guys here insist the box will slide right out if you remove the shocks and drop the swingarm i believe i'm gonna try it.
California ain't bad compared to where you are, but my wussy a$$ still can't handle the weather lately. 40-45 in the morning is arctic weather to me. for one thing i don't have or like wearing real heavy layers and other obtrusive gear. It's just not fun and i'd rather cage it and save the bike for warmer days. Besides, i don't mind the wait because it just makes it that much sweeter when i DO get to ride.
