Hey Primero You are correct in saying "it's been hard work" or "a period of working hard" when you have been busy at work! Enjoy your rest over the Christmas holiday and take it easy - especially when out on the bike!

Did someone say traditional Italian holiday food?
I don't know where it comes from since we don't have any Italians in our family tree, but we usually have Ravioli on Christmas Eve. Can't get good fresh ones here in Arizona like we could in California though.
My homemade Limoncello is about done after curing for almost 2 months in the cupboard. A most excellent digestif.

Sal ,in this case I wont say "genuine slow food",but is true there is foods for some kinds of celebrations, but is too complicate for me to explain in english.but is more simple to eat than to speak of them.
I like "limoncello" to,good digestif, expecially after christmas dinner

Good thing it's too complicated to explain, because I'd just end up drooling all over my keyboard if you described all that great food. Chilled the Limoncello last night and had a taste. Came out great!
