Here's the story..... The tune is back ground music for a vid pedaling flight sim graphic upgrades...... On the site they claim a friend of his done the music and recorded it for the vid. Thats probably true....but I think I have heard this before and not sure that they are the writers of the music....Has anyone heard this song? If so can you point me in the direction of a title or album? I happen to really dig the tune a lot. Thanks for your help! T You can hear the song here: http://vimeo.com/1279152

My audio was blinking in and out so I didn't hear the whole thing. But it is definatly similar to the opening of "Green Grass and High Tides" by the Outlaws. A '70's Southern Rock standard.

Now, don't quote me here Terry, but I'm guessin' this song's title might be..."Forty Winks on Cloud Nine" by Sandman Sam and the Narcoleptics!!! (so dude...havin' a little trouble fallin' asleep at the firehouse lately, are we???...well, that song there sure ought'a help ya out then, alright!!!)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Your Kill'in me Dwight So, I take it the little tune is a wee bit soft for the Dwight'ster?
Oh, about the Firehouse..... No we have been real busy here lately! Wish we could throttle back a little though.
Ps. aren't you supposed to be out mowing the lawn? I hear the grass grows year round in So Cal!

Tomorrow, Terry. Lawn cuttin' day is always Monday. What's with the "busy" back there? Hope you folks weren't gettin' a lot of these brushfires there like we out here in CA were recently!

Sure, you heard it before...that is the background music from "Walker, Texas Ranger" when Chuck Norris is having a reflective moment of Zen....after someone he likes gets killed dead, or almost dead, just before he goes Steven Segal on them. Or at least it's close.
later, Tom.
But, what do I know?

It's most likely a home recording...or a really crappy studio recording using tons of synthetic layers and god awful guitar tone.

That's probably not far from the truth! Walker Texas Ranger is Terry's favorite TV show. He has always dreamed of kicking some butt like Chuck Norris...

i'm guessing home recorded as well. it sounds like the beginning to about 50 different songs, none of which i'd listen to, lol. so, if it is stolen, i wouldn't have any idea of who recorded it, because as soon as it would have come on my radio, i'da changed stations
there are 10 kinds of people in the world. those that understand binary, and those that don't.

Seen on a t-shirt recently : "After a hard night of partying, Chuck Norris doesn't throw up, he throws down". Still makes me laugh. Young, hip daughter says they've been around for a while. Old, unhip Al Quote:

Are you suggesting a $39 synth may produce less than realistic tones, or perhaps a Realistic synth may produce less than $39 tones?

Nine pages of Chuck Norris facts!?! I didn't read more than two in fear that my head would explode from knowing the reason of life! Beware, this is too much information any one person (except Chuck Norris) to have with out fear that Chuck Norris will hunt them down and give them a RHK2tF. You have been warned! later, Tom.
But, what do I know?
