That thing will always be hungry. You need to think about a whole new hobby. Casting bullets and reloading ammo. I make a box of .45 ACP's for less than $2.00 and making a few hundred of them takes me less than an hour.
The benefits are many. First that Auto Ordinance Tommy Gun with proper cleaning and oiling will last two or three lifetimes because you will not be wearing out the barrel with copper jackted slugs. Lead boolits will not wear the barrel like copper slugs will.
Second by getting your lead for boolit making from discarded wheel weights you will help the envoirnment.
Third you can make boolits in your spare time, like when watching TV in the living room or den.
Fourth, if you have others in the family who want to shoot the Tommy Gun then they can particpate in the hobby by helping out to make the ammo to feed the little beast.
Fifth, by buying powder, primers and molds etc you will be promoting the sport of shooting.
Sixth you will have the fabulous sense of satisfaction in knowing that every round you shoot will have been made by you and that they will have cost only about .03 per shot.
Seventh, now that you have the tools and know how you can aquire some other different firearms and make ammo for them just as easily.
Eighth, now that you have the Tommy Gun, what about a Garand, Carbine, 1903 rifle, 1911 Pistol? Then you can branch out to the British weapons of war....Enfield, Jungle Carbine, Webley, Sten Gun and such. German....MP 40, Luger, P-38, K98 Carbine.
Pretty soon you will be addicted and have to buy a large safe for your toys. Along the way you will expose the whole family to the joys of shooting and firearms and thereby equip them to challenge life.
