It was 36°F this morning. There was only one bike at work. It wasn't a Harley.

It was 38F when I left this morning. After yesterday's ride, I decided to put my hippo hands on the bike. I was snug as a bug in a rug. Didn't see another bike on the road.

Didn't buy into the hype, you can keep the change.

I must admit we were quite amazed to see some guy on a custom chopper going down the M1 this morning about 0530 in the rain with no waterproofs on and an open face helmet.

It had to be about 5 or 6 degrees abouve freezing and the guy looked like a drowned rat as he flew past our ambulance.

Made me feel a bit of a wuss putting on all my thermal gear to go home a couple of hours later.

Before the war on terror, if I saw an unattended package I used to think "I'll be having that!"

Rode to a PGR mission on Monday. Was 23 degrees with a slight wind. Still had about 40 bikes.

Today is Thank a Soldier Day. Please celebrate all day long.

It's been in the mid 50's to 60 here some fridged mornings lately. Da-n if I can tolerate it. (I could, but I won't)
Our winters ain't that long, and I can wait.

It's amazing what the human body can take if forced to, he was probably riding and wearing all his personal belongings.

Give thanks that you can afford the thermals.

That's pretty funny. It's amazing to what you get accustomed.

I am waiting 'til the temp gets up to 45 so I can ride some today!

riding every day. The only inconvenience is having to warm up my java press and plate using hot tap water, so when I load them up they don't chill either my grits or my java. The temp inside has not been higher than 69 degrees for the past two weeks. Right now it is 62 inside. I call FL winter weather: New England t-shirt weather. I love it. Free AC. Grass don't grow and the mosquitos are chillin.

I keep the inside temp setting @ 74. Drops to 71, the heat comes on, back to 74. This is ok with a litle more clothing than usual (long pants, socks, shirt).
Won't ride in anything less than 70, just aint worth it! Too many nicer days.

GEEEZ, erle!!! And here I thought I WAS SPOILED out here in L.A.!!! "Won't ride in anything less than 70"??? You're kiddin', right?!

(dude, your blood must be as thin as water!...even MY "threshold" is at about 50 degrees)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

This was leaving for a 400 mile round trip to Cedar Key from Orlando. Rained ALL the way there & back. Started the trip KNOWING it was an all day rain. Loved the trip!
BUT NO!, I ain't intentionally going out in anything less than 70.
