Hey Paul

Nearly there....If you go to FAQ it has a list if how many posts you make to change your rating. But being the nice person I am I'm gonna paste it in here....

0 stranger
25 newbie
50 journeyman
100 member
200 enthusiast
400 addict
700 old hand

In FAQ there are lots of answers to lots of stupid questions that are so obvious but only obvious after you've read them.Give 'em a read if you have a spare few minutes.

PS How many are actually going in March??

Try some of this .

Rumours of it sending you blind are exagerated - that hasn't happened for ages.
Better quality alcohol these days ya see!

It's only slightly stronger at 55% but the bit I like is the 'wormwood' used has a similar chemical make-up as cannadis!!
Take a look-see here .

The bottle I have won't last until March so I'll get another bottle before then.

That's what I like to hear!!
I understand it was invented by the Pernod bloke.
It's got the same smell but not as strong in taste I don't think.

It's OK with Red Bull.
I'm yet to try the mix with Cognac!!!

I wonder what it's like with JD ... ?

Something to look forward to tonight me thinks.

Well, that's crossed it off my "to do "list then!

There was I, 16 years old, New Years Eve, out with my older brother at his local. Hours later, after a few pints, ol silly bollox here goes on the pernod & black! Another few hours and fast forward to a late 70's seedy afterhours drinking hole called the Midas club, heat turned up and picture me in the 360 degree projectile vomiting contest!

26 years later, still cannot smell pernod without the belly doing a flipflop!

I'm yet to sample the 'same chemical make-up as cannabis' bollox yet
Will try it something else to kick start it.

I only have it to get sober!!! Grandad was from Islay - started me on it at 5 God knows what social services would make of it now! I always enjoyed going to his house at weekends and stopping over (can't think why! ) - said it helped me sleep!!!
3 pints and I'm anyones - 1 bottle of malt and can still walk in straight line (dont ask me, i can't work it out either)

HOW FAR NORTH?????!!!!?????

Is this where I'm glad that I'm off on the Thursday and the Monday? And I was planning (but now going to be a definate) to go to my parents as a half way break overnight.

I believe some are stopping at Adey's over night Gina, and if need be you can always get your head down here.

I would but at most it'll only be 20 mins from his... and it'll mean space for someone else if it's needed. My parents live the Burton side of Nottingham. Would take me 5 minutes to get on the A50 or 10 mins to get to the A38. Will also stop them moaning that they never see me!

Last year, Nobby and I went to the 'Farmyard party' (yes, the one that got washed away by a burst river etc!).

I was living in Bromsgrove at the time and as I got off the motorway to go home, Nobby carried on and didn't stop until Plymouth (you really should get those brakes looked at mate!).

North Yorks to Plymouth - one run - the man's bloody crazy I tell ya!

Talk about walking funny, I bet next day he couldn't stop a pig in an entry!!

Sounds a bit like me, when we returned from Welsh Wales, I think I had the furthest distance to travel, but it was worth it just for the good company and to meet everyone you talk to on here

My longest ride so far was last July, did the National Rally. Left home at 12:00 Sat to meet sister and her partner at Watford Gap, then on to Bedford for 2pm start, finished at Rugby at 9:30 Sunday morning got home 10:45. Although did have two 1 hour breaks. Worst bit was 4am going over the Clee hills in the rain. Had only had BA two months!(buttocks went into spasm everytime i went into garage for a week afterwards ) Was fun though - planning on doing again this year as it finishes at National Motorcyle Museum.

Bit of useless information - 'kip' comes english sailors, from the Danish for 'Brothel' which roughly translated to 'kip-house'

I rode up to a mate's place the other side of Manchester and could have kept going...just really hate motorway riding. Will have to make sure the ipod is fully charged to keep me awake!!!
