One of Vera Lynn's nipples -- broke --, the spoke was fine. I had a friend break the bead and I installed a nipple off of an NOS front rim I had laying about. Tightened it to the same pitch (finger nails dragged across the spokes will let you here the tension) and well, that was the day I left for the '06 Nor'Rally like say 31,000 miles ago. You can order a nipple or the dealer should have one. Breaking the bead is the hard part.
