Snap. If you have a warranty use it. If you poke around too much and don't really know what you're doing the dealer can claim (right or wrong) that you voided the warranty.

Are you sure it's not something silly like the petcock or the kill switch turned off? You'll feel like a complete git trailering your bike to the dealer for something like that, and you wouldn't be the first to do it.
