Maybe it's boredom with not getting out to ride. Maybe it's spending too much time on this forum. Maybe it's even an inexplicable addiction to flea-bay. Whatever it is.... it's started! Just bought the following   Oh dear, oh dear... where will it all end

Now that is where I started bar ends and choke knob after that ...candy cane twisted gear change rod, Battery cover ....and on and on ...those buggers Brent Eddie and Tribal have a lot to answer for....mind you xmas is easy..."what do you want for xmas" ......shiny stuff and emm how much do you want to spend....so just keep looking and just keep adding and spending ....have fun these bikes just lend themselves to adding shiny bits...

I know just what you mean Mark... This is something every America and Speedmaster owner should have on there bike...   This little piston look-a-like thing cleans up the swing arm bolt and replaces that ugly plastic cap..

LOL... yes they are bar end caps and a choke knob!
Thinking of trying to make up next items myself rather than buying ready made. Want to make some flame design stainless items (a rear fender bib and exhaust guards). Have seem some similar to what i want but i want them to fade from natural stainless to straw and on to blue.

Ive been in your shoes. There is no stopping this thing that is happening.
My advice is this...make a list of your needs vs. wants. Then prioritize said list of needs vs. wants.
Next step is to burn said list and buy items as needed. If your family and friends truly love you they will understand and accept your weakness. If not there is always us here at teh forum. At teh verly least we will willingly view your pictures, appreciate your mods and encourgae your weakness untill it becomes livable.
Our prayers are with you...now go out and buy something else and show us what it is.

That has to one of the funniest comments made on this board in a long time.....trust a mod with YOUR credit cards ....the mods get paid a fortune for the job they do in here ....but its never quite enough for them ....they have a serious addiction....Please trust me on this being Scottish I am pretty frugal in my spending...and can offer only this piece of advice...never ever ever tell the wife / girlfriend / partner ...about any of the things you see on this or any other site it only leads to the argument ..."I need shoes/dress and you spend all our money on your bike"
