Hey Greg
Quote:
dont really know what means MARTINI MAN
When the subject of another meet was mentioned, I kept quiet about when and where because I didn't mind when or where!
Years ago, on tv, there was an advert for Martini (do you know the drink?).
The catchphrase was "anytime, anyplace, anywhere". Meaning you could drink it anytime, anyplace .. you get the idea!
That's like me, I'll go anytime, anyplace ... you still get the idea?

HeHe, gone away for weekend, just 'borrowed' friends computer as I wanted to check site (sad i know), you have all gone posting mad!! Mind you, having just looked at photoposts, Adey, Nobby and Me - all we would need is KK to make the full set. And anyone wanting a draft free night can sleep between Ade's tent and mine, reckon we could stop a draft between us, and use Nobby to plug the holes!!! Mind you it may not be too quite as reading past posts - I decided to camp for the same reason as Ade, to let everyone else sleep - wife uses balistic earplugs. Paul

Ay??
You picked the place!! You tell US when we have to confirm by!!
All we need is an approx arrival at the place time and we can work back from that.
Personally, I'd say we need to get there lunch / mid-afternoon (ish).
Give the campers time to set up before hitting the bar.
It does have a bar doesn't it???
This thread has taken a few twists and turns, I've forgotten.

Spoke to Brother in Law who knows the place, it has several bars and a pool room. As for time, think Jan said he was leaving about nine. I was going to meet him at M40 as I only live about half hour from him. Think we were going to meet Ade at Truckers cafe on A5, which is about 3/4 hour from here. Ray, if memory serves me right, isn't there a motorway service between J32 and J34? Although don't know how long it would take us to get there, personally I don't usually ride more than a hour without a pit stop (usually to let lad stretch his legs and wake up!!). Don't know if anyone else wants to meet on motorway. Or if anyone else is meeting up with Ade. Still we have 2 months to sort it all out.

Looks as though I will not be able to sample a few sherberts up North, if I stay on this new medication. Started on Lithium Friday 400mg a day, but could rise to 1200mg a day, also taking Verapamil 600mg. I though I could have a least a couple on the verap, but I think Lithium maybe a NO NO....

It is all quite simple Greg, I suffer with a condition called "Cluster Headaches", it is a condition I have had since I was 14 years old, Where I get really bad headaches. I was diangnodsed in 1998, but just recently went down to London to the Institute of Neurology where I was diangnosed as having Chronic Cluster Headaches (Right sided) and Chronic Migraine (left sided). I have been taking a drug called Verapamil which is for slowing the heart rate down but is useful for some unknown reason for CCH. The Lithium is another drug which is used for sycotics, but is useful for CCH. Explained a little

Hi Paul
It is a small world, I just wish that I did not have them. They have ruined my life upto now, and I don't suppose it is going to change very much in the future.. I sometimes wonder how the wife copes with me, especially when I keep her awake at night and she is up at 6 in the morning for work...
They reckon 0.01% of the world population suffer with Cluster Headaches, I wonder how many of that 0.01% suffer with Chronic Cluster Headaches... So where you at now Paul?
