Clay, just to clarify, the cutouts in the stock Roadster are for accessory running lights, not turn signals. Anyone who doesn't use the factory running lights has to put up with those big cutaways.

I think most windshields without lowers do a poor job of eliminating buffeting. The Roadster is particularly bad, due in part to its height (only 16" from the headlight cutout to the top). The need to eliminate buffeting and face wind depends a lot on how the rider uses the bike. A rider who wears a full-face helmet or who doesn't ride when the temps fall below 40°F might not care. For my part, nearly all my bikes have had fairings, and none has presented the problems I've had with the Roadster. Some mornings when I leave the house, the cold wind across my eyes causes tearing so bad I nearly have to pull over and stop. There's gotta be a better way to get this done. It's not rocket science.





The first version won't have the light bar cutouts.
It's not rocket science, wait, it is aerodynamics. This guy has been doing this a long time and is VERY knowledgeable.
I will pass this along to him about the lowers so we can incorporate a combination.
Once I get this all worked out, I'll post the company and the man in charge. I don't want you guys to distract him from MY project!
He doesn't advertise outside of his website at all, but his company is known at the salt flats.
