Today, a gun enthusiast buddy brings over his new, Ruger LCP. It's very nice, light and small. He says the recoil is very small, despite the light weight (his girl friend shoots it well). They're around $350, but due to a recall on the first edition, there are few to be found. My gun shop guy said not to fall prey to price gouging, they should be avaialble next year. Anyone else have the Ruger LCP?
On a plus note, I completed the "Maryland Firearms Safety Training Course" which entitles me to buy a pistol when I find one. (online, took about 30 minutes)
