I've got a S&W Model 19 .357 Magnum revolver. Loaded with .357 rounds, it's got some serious stopping power. Loaded with .38 wadcutters, you can do some inexpensive target shooting. Get a 6 inch barell for better accuracy. I'm a big fan of Ruger pistols as well. Be safe, have fun, shoot well.
