Well, I'll tell ya why people do that Worth! Because they're Fender Bigots, that's why!!! Yeah, you heard me..."FENDER BIGOTS"...'cause evidently they don't like fenders!!!
(and BTW, these same kind'a folks are called "Mudguard Bigots" in jolly ol' England!)
Of course, I suppose they COULD be called "Minimalists" too, ya know.
Though I'll betcha NEITHER "Fender Bigots" NOR "Minimalists" like it much whenever they get caught out there on their bikes when the heavens open up on 'em, huh?!
(okay, yep...I can't quite seem to understand this whole "no fender" thing either...but I thought I'd take a crack at tryin' to explain it anyway here!)
