Many years ago I had an old lady do the same to my wife and me on a brand new 82 Sportster with less than 100 miles on it.
I was going 30 when I locked them down and hit her smack in the middle.
It knocked both of her hubcaps off and she ran over the side of my leg AFTER she got out and saw what had happened.
Her insurance and $1.200 later I was back on the road.
It ruined my wife and motorcycles forever.
For me it was old hat.
