I like it. Liked the stock Gunfighter too, though.
Definitely better for the pillion, and looks better too if you have a sissy bar/luggage rack - more natural.
I took off the Touring seat and put the Gunfighter back on just for comparison and really can't tell a difference. The are both better, for me, when I sit up closer to the tank. I use the rubber knee pads on the tank, too.
If I am alone, and want to use the rear pegs for a change in leg/foot position, then I slide back in the seat a bit. I think TRIUMPH did it's homework on these seats, and they probably can't be beat. If I can do 500-600 mile days and not wish for a new seat, I could not expect more from any other seat. Sit in a LAZY-BOY for 4-5 hours and your butt gets tired of that, too.
