Hi all....to carry on from before, are we thinking that this would be in the Springtime? It would be a good chance to meet up before the Euro run. Any ideas, anyone? There have already been some good links provided by Ray, Adey & Dave so let's have a little think about this...somewhere via the Cat & Fiddle would be nice but hey! the world's our oyster!

Cheers people

Jan

I agree Jan, Springtime would be nice, and i'm sure there are plenty of places we could bunk down for the night. Keep them links coming!

Hey jan
The Golden Lion looks good.
I opened the link and my eyes were immediately drawn to the CAMRA bit
I'm OK with any date.
I'd be happy to camp if it meant peace and quiet for the bunkhouse guys.

Hi Jan

PM'd you, but I would prefer March as I am away in Europe for three weeks in the Motorhome.

It is also very close to a few of the big bike meeting places on a Sunday Devils Bridge and Hawes..

I would say that is alright, somewhere to go on our way home and have a brew look at other bikes and have a chat?

2 days away from the puter and already the next ones being planned...

I'm up for a time that's a little warmer
Just give me plenty of warning so that I can book the time off!

Gina

PS bike returned yesterday. Changed the coils and the brake pads FOC

Gina 03 America - Pretty stock - except the TBS wheel... 06 America - missing, presumed in bits. With it's TBS wheel... 09 America - It's very blue....

Hi Jan

Both dates are fine by me, the 17th is a Friday so do you mean 18/19.

Adey you will get people thinking telling them you are the Martini man....

Shall we say 25/26, then (more chance of it being warmer...I suppose we could build Adey an igloo) and at the Golden Lion? (Timothy Taylors - glug glug glug yum yum yum!!!) If so, I will PM entire known UK membership (as seen on Frappr - might take all of 2 minutes) with the suggestion...

Ordered Britains Ultimate Guide the other day but it hasn't arrived yet. Will post some further possible venues when it does though...

Or of course there's The Golden Lion... That was sorted out quick lads, you don't mess around do you. Looks a fine venue to me.

There's the problem! LH coil = 72 mph + RH Coil = 72 mph therefore net speed = 144 mph . I knew there had to be a reason for it.....

  • Might be able to have a few sherberts as well
  • The Mrs might even be tempted as well

Looking good Jan, now for everyone to confirm!

Well, seeing as I couldn't get the link to the Golden Lion to work, I've only got your word that it is in England. Anyway, you know how inexperienced a rider I am & that I don't like riding more than 30 miles to or from a rally!

Put me down as a probable.

MrsR might be interested as well, if no-one has any objections.

Dave

I'm gonna be perusing BSH or 100% biker in next couple of months to see what the listings show. I am sure that a "few" will be on the agenda. Want to do a mixtue of big & small this year - I havent done the Bulldog or Rock'n'Blues yet & want to get to a least one of those this year, as well as more like the GPO.

Any suggestions based on past experience always welcome.

Shaun

The Rock and Blues is one of my favourites, depending on the bands. even with all the mud and the mini tornado
The GPO was one of the best small rallys ive been to, problem is i already know i will be working when both of those are on next year Was thinkin about goin to the Bulldog, Stormin the Castle is a definate because ive never been, but other than that any suggestions of good smaller rallys would be welcome.
