think about this, we were fine up untill about 3 yrs ago, then things started falling about. Now the question is, what event took place about 3yrs ago that seems to have changed everything??? as for his retirement, every congressman and senator gets the same beny's with a lot less to deal with day to day then the pres. it is my opinion that they all should have to deal with life on the same terms as we do everyday. the president dosnt have as much power as some people think (the house and senate is where its at) and he really dosnt make that much $$$ say in comparison with a c.e.o. of a company and yet he runs a ultra big company. have any of you ever seen Bush's home in Tx. it is very moderate compared to someone like say, Gore or Palosi and his home is very energy efficient, with rain water being captured and GeoThermal heating and cooling and a list of other things. nobody(especialy Bush) expected the attack on 9-11 and it has been that one incedent that has plaged his presidentcy and if the previous administration had done its job we would not have had a 9-11 to deal with. i tell everyone to look at the big picture, look at what has transpired in the house in the last few yrs and then tell me who is to blame for what. i believe if the president had the power of line item veto, things would be a whole lot different today. now i am sure i am going to get shut down here but i hope not!!!!! people need to open their eye's and really look at what go's on in washington before they try to blame one man for the whole encilada!!!!!
