I posted this on the old form and thought that it would be a good idea to repost it here.I was going to check my plugs and thought before i took them out i would blow out the hole in the head.Good thing i did!When i did this a LARGE piece of metal shaving came flying out!Where it came from i don`t know,the factory?It was fresh and clean looking and i haven`t done any work on that part of the bike so i don`t know.If you don`t have a compressor like me just use the compressed air in a can that you use on your computer keyboard,it works just fine.Can you imagine what would have happened if i hadn`t cleaned the head before i took out the plug!!!!Lot`s of money to fix that one!Our plugs are located so far down in the head that it is a prime spot for foriegn objects to get lodged.Do yourself a favor and blow it out before you check your plugs!Hope this saves someone from a costly repair!
