so after much help from posts here on TBA, i was able to wire up my Kisan signal minder to the brake / left / and right signals. i opened the switch box and put the new springs in (which you really don't have to do; but what the heck) HOWEVER if you leave the reset feature intact, you are basically creating a hazard for yourself in that using the turn signal once and not resetting (which lets face it, you probably bought the signal minder because you are not good at minding your signals) leaves you with NO SIGNALS. so i called Kisan (spoke with Andy) and was told i could either cut little pieces of the plastic packaging out and block off the latching tips (what you hear click when you use the stock switch) or just snip the latching tips off (basically the entire middle of the box if no use once you have the signal minder FULLY installed) after snipping the latching tips and it STILL needing reset, i basically just gutted the reset levers and low and behold, works like a dream!!!
