I saw the new Star( Yamaha) Roadliner Saturday. Killing some time, we stopped in a giant Japanese dealer. I read the road tests and saw the pictures, but they do not convey what an actual siting does. Yamaha has gone in a slightly different direction on the retro styling that is so popular. The are not making an old Harley or Indian styled retro cruiser. This thing looks more like a Deusenberg. Art Deco everywhere. Is it over the top? To some I'm sure it is. I confess, I really like it. It certainly is different. 113 cubic inches helps as well. I have a few years till my 5 year plan allows me to purchase another new bike, but this thing hooked me. Let's see if I wriggle off the hook in 2-1/2 years.
