I stuck my stock mufflers in the shed and left them covered up.If you look on
www.bikebandit.com at the price of the stock mufflers you may want to leave them alone and just buy some aftermarket mufflers.The stock mufflers are catalatic converters also.The last time I looked bikebandit priced them at $450 each.If the smog police ever really crack down you may not want to have to spend that much on two stock mufflers again.You can spend as little as $40 each or all the way up to $1000 for a pair of mufflers.I put the TORS on my bike and yes there are louder pipes out there,but my bike is also carbed.The stock mufflers are quite pricey if you have to install them again.Mine take up space in the shed.I hope I never have to reinstall them.Good luck.--What part of KC?
