I got my pipes back today. I had my America's stock pipes gutted clean except the reducing cone (thanks for the tip Ian). The were dropped off today and I put them on just for a little listen. Sounds good!
I really couldn't crank on the throttle as I live in an apartment complex. I also need to get a good tune-up at my 6k maint. (not a lot of immediate response in the lower rpms). Anyway, when I bring the bike in for it's checkup, then I'll have them put on for good. Can't wait. Now I just need a reason to ride off another 1300 miles...
