Mike,
There have been quite a few members of this site over the years who have had ignitors fail. Most were covered under warranty but a few had to purchase a new one - an expensive item.

So I have a possibly dumb question for you. Since you have the means to access and change the programming of these ignitors, do you believe it might be possible that some of these failed ignitors may have somehow had their mapping corrupted rather than an outright failure?
I don't know that anyone has yet been able to determine the cause of these failures. If there is a chance of resurrecting a failed ignitor I'm sure there would be some interest.

The technology is way over my head - I'm just putting this out there to get your opinion.
