Hi Greg, with the TPS disconnected you are only using the 100% WOT map, this is not detrimental to your engine as many guys with Mik 42's are running without a TPS. But it does mean you are using WOT ignition advance for all throttle openings.
3D ignition advance mapping was developed to take in to account the load on the engine as different throttle openings at different engine speeds effect the speed of combustion and altering the angle of ignition advance takes this in to account.

2) My maps will be performance orientated.
3) Not that I know of without a lot of work and development.
4) Soon after I get some loan units. Gill igniters can rev to 15,500rpm, but you wouldn't want that.
