Since my bike was new (last summer ) I have felt a little wiggle in the handlebars at times. I recently installed a clearview windshield which is larger than my stock Triumph roadster shield, this seemed to amplify the problem. As an experiment I took the shield off and took the bike out for a ride. The shimmy is hardly noticeable as long as both hands are on the grips, but if I get on a straight stretch of road and release the grips it immeadiately starts wobbleing. The bike is still under warranty so off to the dealer I went. They checked to see if the front wheel was true, tire pressure, steering head bearings were tight they even removed the front wheel and rebalanced it and still no improvement. I left with them saying that they were going to contact the factory and see what they recommend. I can't think of anything left except replacing the front tire. Anybody else have a shimmy in thier front end?
