When I purchased my SM, my intention was to keep the stock seat and put my $$ first towards the Freak and exhaust, so 50 miles later I am on the Corbin website ordering the seat and pillion. I was surprised how firm the seat was when i got it, but after my first 100+ ride I was pleased when I got off the bike and walked away without that, I need to stretch for a minute, feeling. I purchased the backrest a month later. Thou Corbin is very proud of their stuff it is worth every penny. I recommend it as the first mod after purchase.
