I didn't start out concioulsy to make it look retro, perhaps it was a subliminal thing, I'm happy with it, I'm rolling out 4 seat bases as we speak for mates here in Brisbane, I'm making the bases out of 1.5mm gal. steel, they will be ready in a couple of weeks, I was going to make the seat pans out of fibreglass but I luv fabricating steel. It gives the seat more strength & it's old school.
