HI, I've been a lurker for some time now. I have a 01 Tiger and a 02 Bonnie. Im thinking about getting an America or Speedmaster. I dont have alot of experience with the "feet forward" riding position. Im looking for advice/comments on the comfort of the America or the Speedmaster
Well David, as long as you don't already have any lower back pain issues, I think you'll find this riding position fairly comfortable once you get used to having your feet forward instead of underneath your body.
However, if you do suffer from this malady at all, then I'd say you better stear clear of any motorcycle which will put all your upper-body weight directly on your tailbone, and which does not allow you to use your legs at any type of "shock absorber" whenever you'd hit that inevitable pothole out there on the road.
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)
