Anybody had their tach go nuts. I was strolling along an noticed my tach had pegged out. Let off the gas and stoped. Tach was showing 4000 at idle. Gave a little gas and it would peg all the way out again. Shut off the engine and it stayed at 4000. Worked the switch on and off several time and it finally went back to zero and seemed to work normally after that.

Mine went goofy once, it wouldn't go over 3000 rpm and at idle it was erratic. It fixed itself and haven't had a problem since, that was 5000 miles ago or so

Thanks for the replys guys. Havn't had time to screw with it since the other day. Hopefully it fixed itself. I don't believe its the most accurate tach ever produced anyway.

it is close, shift at 7k and thats close to redline. or if you have a 17t sprocket 3rd is good for 80mph, and 4th for about 105
